I don’t believe in coincidences.

When I saw the movie Pay It Forward (2000), it fundamentally shaped the way I view the world. The movie is more or less about showing kindness to someone you meet so that they can in turn do the same thing, setting off a chain reaction that changes the world. I figured out a way to do this on a larger scale, and I believe because of this I’m constantly in a position to receive the kindness I put out back to me tenfold. I’ve been telling everyone that will listen that if you continually show kindness to everyone around you, it will create a happier environment for all of you. If you show kindness to every stranger you meet, people will start to pick up on your character. If you donate to a charity enacting change in the world, you’re literally changing the world. It’s not as hard as people think it is. If you make the world a better place then you will feel the effects of your change. Create your own happiness.

Shoutout @dasani.h2o for hitting me with the #TBT! Dasani is my friend from high school, and also one of my first and most consistent supporters. I used to call him Water Boy but he’s so much more than that 💕😂

In this pic, circa 2016, he’s wearing the first shirt I ever released under my LLC. I made the design on my phone in the Photoshop app and had the shirts printed at a stand at Cumberland Mall. I saved up about $400 for the project, and only sold about half the shirts. I gave away a lot simply because I didn’t want to hold onto a bunch of shirts. Soon after, I had to buy more because I had accidentally sold more than I had. I had to teach myself things like finding manufacturers, sourcing the blanks, and tracking inventory, all at the age of 18. But I did it. I walked to the post office, (again, in Cumberland Mall), every Friday with a big bag of orders and a smile. I was living my dream all the way back in 2016 and I still am. I’m glad Dasani has been apart of the journey from the start, and because of that I may get his name tatted one day. We’ll see. taken in Smyrna, Georgia by @unreleasedbyjulius

I'm happy to announce that the BreastCAM shirt is now available on our website. When I realized Breast Cancer Awareness Month was coming up, I thought about my late Aunt Jackie and I knew I had to make something to honor her memory. Being me, I couldn't do anything cliché or boring.
Unfortunately, I made something that might be a little too....flashy. Oh well, it's for a good cause.

Culture is one of the things in the world that has continually enriched the human experience for us all, along with love and individuality. By combining all of these things into one cohesive piece of clothing, it gives the wearer the ability to project an energy that inspires and gives confidence to others like you. This Cinco de Mayo, I wanted to make something that celebrates Mexican Culture, and gives Mexican people both a sense of individuality and belonging.
