Exploring life. One word, one meaning at a time.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My ebook is officially OUT. It’s been nerve racking to do this.

I wrote about my life and how I navigated through by exploring ways of understanding and survival. Hope it helps others who went through similar journeys.

Thank you for being here 🤍

2015 is the first time I noticed the struggles of men. I had one conversation that struck me and now the conversations are many.

Men’s identity is changing… as do their challenges, and we don’t talk about it enough.

There are conversations about men everywhere but how often do we actually have conversations with men?

These are the topics we’re exploring

Loneliness.
Purpose.
Fatherhood.
Failure.
Relationships.
Entitlement.
Masculinity.
Responsibility.
Mental health.

Not to excuse or attack but to understand men and the challenges they face in today’s society.

Welcome to Conversations About Men.

I wrote this book after living ‘several different lives’ as my sister says. I spent decades searching for answers, started to understand, stopped running, accepted and moved differently.

I wrote it mainly so that people on similar paths never mistaken suffering for identity the way I once did.

Looking back I feel blessed, because now I have the freedom to choose how I wish to live.

Shafoot is a staple Yemeni dish in our household during the holy month of Ramadan.

Discipline is the key of life.

Once a year… 30 days…

I want to paint more. I want to have time to paint more. Or should I make time…can we make time? Time is an illusion… time is of the essence. Time is money. But rest needs time. And we can’t do all that at once. Can we? We can when rest is painting. When rest becomes like fighting. We can do it all at once.
