At @itsacademyapuliadigital, in partnership with @biunivoca, we brought high-school students inside a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for their 𝗣𝗖𝗧𝗢. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗔𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁, from pre-production to post: writing, camera, tracking, lighting, direction, edit, color.

This reel is the 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 of 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 — short-films and music-video remakes, shot on 𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲.

Rebuilding to tell the story.

At @itsacademyapuliadigital, alongside @barbaracarfagna for a new episode of Codice on @rai1official, we used virtual production to recreate a real and harrowing space: one of the ISIS prison cells, reconstructed in every detail from photographic documentation.

One environment. One full day of work.

Every pixel crafted to help understand, to tell the story with precision — without ever physically crossing those boundaries.

Impossible locations? We create them in 3D.

In virtual production, locations are built digitally, starting from 3D modeling and moving through texturing and lighting, to create photorealistic environments that match the scene perfectly.
These worlds are then optimized in real time and integrated directly on set, allowing complex scenes to be filmed without ever moving the crew.
Whether it’s a futuristic city or an alien landscape, every environment is created from scratch and fully under creative control.
And once it’s built, it can be modified, adapted, or reused.

It’s the new way of thinking about scenography:
flexible, creative, and digital.
