Very proud to announce that the Beta Beta chapter has been nominated by Phi Kappa Tau Nationals to be a part of this year’s Founders Four, the top four chapters for the 2023 calendar year. This means that we will be competing to win the Maxwell Outstanding Chapter Trophy later this month. Extremely proud of all our brothers and all of the hard work they have been putting in this year! Congratulations to the three other chapters that were also nominated.

Our next Fall ‘26 Recruitment Spotlight highlights another one of our Founder’s Four finalists from our most recent Maxwell award.

Please join me in congratulating our Beta Beta chapter at the University of Louisville (@uoflphitau) for bringing in 36 new members! Phi Kappa Tau has a long history on U of L’s campus, and we’re excited to see the next chapter of that history unfold.

Note: we only post recruitment highlights for chapters when we have official recruitment numbers and a great photo of the new members, so make sure to report your new associates on ChapterBuilder.

Earlier today, brothers of Phi Kappa Tau joined the Air Force and Army ROTC programs for the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at L&N Stadium. Together, we climbed in remembrance of those who lost their lives and in honor of the bravery and service shown on September 11, 2001. Never forget. 🇺🇸 taken in Phi Kappa Tau: University of Louisville by @uoflphitau

September is National Suicide Awareness Month, a month to bring light to a topic that in many people’s minds makes them weak. Suicide has become the third leading cause of death in people ages 15-29 across the entire world yet there is a social stigma that forces people to cast aside feelings. This month we want to encourage people to speak up on their experiences and push others to do the same. If you are ever in need of help please reach out to anyone you can.

Congratulations to Beta Beta (@uoflphitau) at the University of Louisville, this year’s winner of the Paul Newman Award for the highest dollar amount raised for SeriousFun Children’s Network.

The award honors Paul Newman, Ohio ‘43, founder of Hole in the Wall Camps, now known as SeriousFun. Beta Beta’s fundraising this year set the pace for the entire fraternity.

Runner-up honors go to Beta Gamma at the University of Idaho (@uidahophitau) for a strong showing as well.

Congratulations, Beta Beta. We appreciate everything you’ve done for @seriousfun_camps. by @uoflphitau
