🌟 Welcome Week complete! 🌟
With our first week of the Semester well under way we thought we’d reflect on the brilliant activities our dance students took part in during their LSCAD Welcome Week! Team building, outdoor activities, social events, and, of course, plenty of dancing took place!
It’s great to be back and the studios are filled with energy this week! Welcome/back everyone, you’re smashing it!

🌟 It’s been a busy summer for our IDTA Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching & Freestyle Teaching students! 🌟

🎭 Overall x15 teaching exams have taken place with every single result being a distinction!

🪩 This is a wonderful achievement and testament to the students hard work and passion for dance teaching.

We also say a big thank you to Charlotte Hamilton our IDTA trainer, for delivering the training and organising the exam days, a great support to our students planning their next career steps.

A lovely lunch with staff and our final year BA Hons Dance students 💛

It was so nice to come together and celebrate all the hard work and progress made this year so far. We’re incredibly proud of this group and everything they’ve achieved during their time with us, and it’s been amazing to watch them grow into such creative and confident artists.

A big good luck for assessments next week — nearly there ✨ by @uol_dance

This week we had an incredible workshop with @yukiko.masui and company dancer @nathan_bartman . The energy in the room was electric and it was fabulous to learn from the company!

Each year we take our L3 Dance students on a L3 social with both students and staff 💃🕺

It’s an important time in the year where we pause, step outside of the studio, and have some fun together. These moments help strengthen our sense of community and give us the chance to celebrate our L3 students in their final year.

A chance to reflect, connect, and make memories — reminding us that dance is about more than training, it’s about people 🤍
