OEO-CÉ est une conférence qui vise principalement à aider les étudiants presque gradués à comprendre ce qui les attend après l’obtention de leur diplôme. Là-bas, vous apprendriez de leaders expérimentés et vous réseauteriez avec des étudiants du pays au complet. Au cours de cette conférence, vous en apprendrez davantage sur la marque personnelle, le processus de candidature et d’embauche, l’importance du réseautage et sur les diplômes de maîtrise en ingénierie. IPO (ingénieurs professionnels de l’Ontario) est le plus grand sponsor de cette conférence, et CÉ signifie conference étudiant. Cette conférence aura lieu le 23 au 25 octobre à York University.

Date limite d’inscription : le 29 septembre, 2026

PEO-SC is a conference mainly focused on helping upper year students understand what is waiting for them after graduation. There, you would learn from experienced leaders and network with students from all over the country. During this conference, you would learn about personal branding, the application & hiring process, the importance of networking, and about Masters degrees in engineering. PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) is the biggest sponsor for this conference, and SC stands for Student Conference. This conference will be held October 23rd to 25th at York University.

The First Year Integration Conference is intended to help integrate engineering students into their first year of university. The Conference is entirely organized and run by engineering students and is attended by over 100 first years from 16 universities across Ontario.

Reminder that this is a conference where travel to and from the conference, meals during the conference, and accommodations are all paid. There will be a $25 fee for confirming your attendance.

This conference will be held between November 13th and November 15th at the University of Guelph.

Attention! Conferences de CAÉGO sont seulement en Anglais!

La Conférence d’Intégration de Première Année a pour but de faciliter l’intégration des étudiants en génie dans leur première année d’université. La conférence est entièrement organisée et dirigée par des étudiants en génie et plus de 100 étudiants de première année de 16 universités de l’Ontario y participent.

Rappelons qu’il s’agit d’une conférence où le voyage aller-retour, les repas pendant la conférence et l’hébergement sont tous payés. Des frais de 25 $ vous seront facturés pour confirmer votre inscription.

Cette conférence se tiendra du 13 au 15 novembre à l’université de Guelph.

La soirée de sensibilisation externe est une séance d’information organisée pour introduire les étudiants en génie aux diverses opportunités externes offertes au-delà de l’Université d’Ottawa. L’évènement portera sur décrire la structure, le but, et les avantages de participer aux conférences provinciales et nationales d’ingénierie et autres évènements connexes.

La séance aura lieu à 19h00 le 19 mars, 2026 à STEM 464. Des rafraichissements légers, comme des boissons et de la pizza, seront servis. Les participants vont aussi avoir la chance de gagner des écussons de marque AÉG et d’autres trucs à travers diverses activités.

External Awareness Night is an informational session organized to introduce engineering students to the various external opportunities available beyond the University of Ottawa. The event will focus on outlining the structure, purpose, and benefits of participating in provincial and national engineering conferences and other related events.

The session will take place on March 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM in STEM 464. Light refreshments, including pizza and drinks, will be provided. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win ESS-branded patches and swags through various activities. by @uottawavpx

(English follows) La conférence sur le développement durable en ingénieurie (CDDI) est une conférence annuelle de quatre jours qui réunit des étudiants en génie de tout le Canada pour qu’ils s’engagent dans un apprentissage pratique de la durabilité en génie et dans leur vie quotidienne. Cette conférence permettra aux participants de placer l’ingénierie et la technologie dans un contexte plus large, conscient des forces sociales, économiques et coloniales qui entraînent la dégradation de l’environnement et le changement climatique. The Conference on Sustainability in Engineering (CSE) is a four-day annual conference that brings engineering students from across Canada together to engage in hands-on learning about sustainability in engineering and their daily lives. (English follows) La conférence sur le plaidoyer et le leadership en ingénierie (CPLI) vise à promouvoir le leadership et à examiner le travail de l’équipe CAÉGO actuelle. Elle sert également de plateforme pour élire la prochaine équipe CAÉGO. Les participants pourront prendre part aux élections, rencontrer des leaders étudiants de toute la province et trouver l’inspiration pour continuer à rechercher des opportunités de leadership dans leurs écoles membres. The Conference on Advocacy and Leadership in Engineering (CALE) has a focus on promoting leadership and taking a look at the work of the current ESSCO team.
