Check out some of the highlights from our partnership with the @prattlibrary this summer! We had some amazing speakers including @jhunt39 who highlighted the importance of vocabulary in Real Estate and shared some financial literacy basics. @bigfredcomedy and @lillaughs_ brought the laughs while discussing the power of words through comedic expression, and Mr. Hawkins with @dear_nolita came to talk about how to turn obstacles into opportunities for success. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Enoch Pratt Library with Kim Day to bring these valuable discussions to our community. #UPBaltimore #EnochPrattLibrary #RealEstate #Homeownership #Comedy #Motivation #Obstacles #Opportunities #Community#UnitedPlayazBmore, #UPBaltimore, #CommunityEngagement, #YouthEmpowerment, #YouthLeadership, #EndYouthViolence, #BaltimoreStrong, #BuildingCommunity, #SocialJustice, #EquityNow, #BlackLivesMatter, #YouthMentorship, #ChangeMakers, #PositiveChange, #EmpoweringYouth, taken in Enoch Pratt Free Library by @upbmore

As we look back at 2021, we’re proud to say that United Playaz of Baltimore spent most of our time at the Easterwood Rec Center. Our youth took charge, planned health and wellness based presentations and even traveled to NYC to a @upofny Block Party event. From relationship building with one youth on home detention, and celebrating a youth’s certification as a lash tech we really saw our youth take charge. We owe a huge thanks to Mr. Zanes and the Easterwood Rec Center for providing us with a safe space to learn and grow. Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!

Recapping some amazing moments with the youth at UP Baltimore! With thought-provoking youth-lead discussions that focused on health and safety to addressing inequities in access to the cannabis industry and putting an end to youth violence, our youth are taking initiative and making a difference. Check out these pictures from our celebratory cookout for Falisha Sanchez's acceptance into Goucher College's Master's Program. We're just getting started and can't wait to see what we can achieve with the help of other organizations, higher education institutions, and Baltimore City Council Districts 7, 9, and 11. Let's continue to make a positive impact on our community together! taken in Baltimore, Maryland by @upbmore
