Stumbled across the "Devil’s Footprint" in #Munich 👣😈

Legend says the architect made a deal with the devil to fund the church. The only catch- it had to be completely dark and windowless.

The architect designed the pillars so that if you stand right at the entrance, all the massive windows are hidden from view.

When the devil came to check it out, he stood at this exact spot and thought he won. The second he stepped forward and saw the light, he realized he'd been tricked and stomped his foot in fury leaving this permanent print.

The optical illusion from this spot is pretty wild in person.
