Relax with my ASMR Art process😌🎨💜20 years of Healing with and through art🧚🏻‍♀️ @somaticdanceart for dance adventures

POSTS STORIES REELS

About me 🙆🏻‍♀️ I’m a therapist by trade, exploring the human experience through language by day and through art … other times of the day 😌 I studied art in my undergraduate adventures but ended up getting my degree in psychology 🤷🏻‍♀️started developing my style during graduate school and kept my hand in the LA art scene ever since (albeit sometimes just a toe 😅). Sprinkle in teaching yoga, dance and meditation along the way and running my therapy practice to give new layers of meaning and insight to my art journey. Here I am again starting my humble social media page, focusing on documenting my art process and the fabulous artists I meet along the way 🧚🏻‍♀️🎨 here’s to another 20 years of embodied art practice for 🩵healing 🧡joy 💚and abundance 💗👩🏻‍🎨💕 by @upliftart

Today is 10/10/10 (10/10/2+2+6) 🙆🏻‍♀️ which is so very fitting for this post. When I started creating large works, roughly around 2010, I was fascinated with numerology. Some of my works I deliberately created around significant numerological dates such as 12/12/12. I’ve spent a large chunk of this week reviewing, cataloging and organizing 20 years worth of my works 🙆🏻‍♀️💜🧚🏻‍♀️💫😎 wow! All I can say is “I’d like to thank me” 😜 diligent, dedicated and consistent commitment to the work has led to a very robust body of over 100 gallery ready art works 🤩😇😎 I took some time to create mini series while I was cataloging. Allegedly (bc who truly knows anything at the end of the day), today is a great day to give thanks for past experiences and get ready for long term plans to come to fruition 🙆🏻‍♀️💖🧚🏻‍♀️ if true, let’s do it! If not, it’s a nice exercise in gratitude, patience and grace 🩵 which collection is your favorite? What do you want to welcome in?💫🦋❤️ #numerologyart #artnumerology #numerologyinsight #interiordesignlosangeles #interiordesignart #intuitiveartist #abstractintuitiveart #abstractartists #meditativeart #asmrart #healingart #somaticartmeditation #healingart #losangelesartscene #mysticalart #mysticalvibes by @upliftart

I’ve practiced and taught dance and movement meditation for over 20 years 🧚🏻‍♀️there’s an obvious and direct connection of movement in dance and art that inspires many artists, including myself. This year I’ve started filming my art process and was stunned by the direct parallel of movement meditation and art meditation 💘 @somaticdanceart are more dance meditations 🙆🏻‍♀️🦋I’d like to thank @christyhopkins_art for the confidence boost to take the leap and post the reel 🧡🩷💚🩵💙 shoutout to @fyllys “huggy boy” sculpture in the background giving me a boost 🧡💛🧡#upliftart #somaticartmeditation #somaticarttherapy #somaticart #healingart #artflow #somaticdance #somaticdanceflow #danceflow #movementmeditation by @upliftart
