Professional development is more than gaining qualifications. It’s about building knowledge, broadening perspectives and continuously raising standards.

We believe a strong workforce is one that never stops learning, and we’re proud to recognise some of the fantastic achievements and ongoing development across our team.

🎓 Joseph has achieved two Level 3 qualifications in Aerospace Engineering and Scriptwriting, demonstrating a commitment to developing skills across different disciplines.

🏅 Ella has achieved two qualifications in Sports Leadership and Coaching, further strengthening her skills and experience.

📚 Emily has begun her Level 5 qualification in Early Years Development, taking another significant step in her professional journey.

🛡️ Holly has completed further safeguarding qualifications, reinforcing her commitment to maintaining safe, supportive and professional environments.

These achievements reflect something we value highly: a culture of continuous improvement.

By investing in our people, encouraging ambition and supporting individual development, we continue to strengthen our team and the quality of what we deliver. Which is something we are really proud about.

🏆 Our Award Winners 🏆

A huge thank you to the Uplift Education Summer Team for trusting Hattie and Joe from Uplift Events to host and deliver this year’s awards evening. ✨

It was such a privilege to help bring the night together and celebrate everything the team, students and wider Uplift community have achieved over the summer.

And of course, a massive congratulations to all of our award winners. Every award represented hard work, growth, talent and achievement, and it was so special to be able to recognise those moments properly. 🖤

An amazing night, an amazing team, and so many people worth celebrating. 🏆✨ by @upliftstudiosltd

🎵 The Main Event 🎶

Our Uplift Education Awards Night was brought to life with live performances from some incredible Uplift talent. ✨

Opening the awards evening was Uplift Events signed artist Thea, setting the tone for such a special night with a beautiful live performance. 🎤

Later in the evening, we were treated to another amazing performance from Xanthe Summers, who also took home the award for Uplift Performing Artist of the Year. 🏆🎶

Having our own artists perform on the night made the celebration feel even more special — showcasing exactly what Uplift is all about: creating opportunities, championing talent and celebrating the people within our community. 🖤

A huge thank you to Thea and Xanthe for helping make the evening one to remember. ✨ by @upliftstudiosltd

✨ Behind the scenes ✨

A little look at what goes on behind the scenes at Uplift Events. 🖤

We’re still a small team, which means so much of what you see at our events is made, written, organised and put together by hand — right down to the tiniest details.

For our Uplift Education Awards Night last Friday, every name card, finishing touch and part of the set-up had a lot of thought behind it. We care deeply about making our events feel personal, special and completely Uplift — and seeing it all come together made every bit of the preparation worth it. ✨

A huge thank you to The Wheatsheaf, Baslow for giving us such a lovely venue to bring the night to life, and to everyone who helped make it happen! by @upliftstudiosltd

Summer 2026 ✅

Pilsley, Chatsworth and Baslow. Three locations. One summer.

From pitch, to education, to delivery — to hopefully shaping some young lives for the better.

Individual posts and shoutouts to the incredible people who have helped make it all possible are incoming, but for now…

I am incredibly proud of that one. 🤍

I asked one of Uplifts incredible coaches young Rose how it was leading a lot of our money themed community week activities, here’s what she had to say!

“Community week was so fascinating, I particularly enjoyed hosting dragons den because it showed all the many potential young entrepreneurs pilsley had to offer, the children demonstrated all their skills creating and presenting their products and business ideas including creativity, problem solving and adaptivity i particularly enjoyed their ability to work as a team to create a successful product they all agreed worked as a productive business idea. It was also a great activity that showed many children how to come out of their shells and be able to explore the new opportunities of public speaking and presenting ideas to an audience.

Additionally served a role as a “dragon” or an investor and was genuinely impressed by some of the ideas for products and the ability of some children to adapt answer spontaneous questions they may not have previously thought about the answer to.” by @upliftstudiosltd

💷 The Bank of Pilsley officially opened its doors today! 💷

Today at camp, we’ve been learning all about money, business and the value of making smart financial decisions.

Lead by the incredible Rose and Charlotte the children created their very own companies and were given Pilsley Pounds to work with. Throughout the day, they’ve had to buy and sell materials, manage their money, make decisions and keep their businesses afloat — all while having loads of fun along the way!

We believe that helping children build a creative, positive relationship with finances from an early age is so important. Understanding the value of money, learning how to budget and recognising that our choices have consequences are brilliant life skills that can give children confidence as they grow.

The Bank of Pilsley is officially open for business… and judging by today, we may have a few future entrepreneurs on our hands! 💷🏦📈 by @upliftstudiosltd

Yesterday we were so proud to welcome the Book Bus Company to camp! 📚

It was such a special opportunity for all the children to explore new books, discover new stories, and share in the joy of reading.

Thank you to everyone who came, read and bought! 📕 📖 by @upliftstudiosltd
