🎙️ Community Spotlight: Silicon Valley’s Hindi Pioneer, Prof. Nilu Gupta

Dear Community Members,
Many of you know Prof. Nilu Gupta ji as the heart of our community—whether through her legendary classes at De Anza College, the massive Holi celebrations outside SAP Center, or UPMA’s sight-restoring surgeries in Sitapur.
But very few know what her early life was like:
• Running across Gurukul hostel walls in 1956
• Standing firm when conservative relatives questioned educating daughters in 1960
• Solo-trading across Cold War Europe and Tokyo before the internet
• Beating out 50 candidates at De Anza College to make Hindi an accredited course
We are proud to feature Nilu ji in the landmark Episode 1 of Yosmos – Career Ki Kahani.
📅 Release: Sunday, October 11 on YOSMOS
Come celebrate a life dedicated to language, humanity, and our shared roots.

In 1980, an Indian woman landed in Tokyo alone. No smartphone. No Google Maps. Zero English.

Decades later, she walked into the President of India's estate to receive the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, after building an accredited Hindi department in the heart of Silicon Valley.

What does a real 60-year career journey look like when you peel back the accolades?

We sat down with Prof. Nilu Gupta for Episode 1 of Yosmos: Career Ki Kahani.

🗓️ Premiere Date: Sunday, October 11 at 9:00 AM PST | 9:30 PM IST
Don't miss the uncensored masterclass.

(Something bigger is quietly being built for learners and builders... stay tuned)
