“fresh paint 20:26” Art, as a reflection of reality, inevitably privileges the version of reality most valued by the market. Under capitalism, visibility is granted primarily to what is commercially successful, yet reducing reality to its marketable form is as misleading as reducing the human body to its attractive appearance.This distinction can be understood through the opposition between the transcendent and the immanent. The transcendent relies on an external standard of value recognition, success, or symbolic prestige against which existence must be justified. Today, the market increasingly functions as such an authority, deciding which images deserve attention.The immanent, by contrast, requires no external validation. It is embedded in life itself: aging, illness, sexuality, sleep, digestion, and care are no less real than beauty or decoration. Lipstick and defecation represent two poles of the same reality the first belonging to representation and the production of an image, the second to the material reproduction of life. Culture aestheticizes one while suppressing the other.Art can follow either logic. It can reproduce market expectations and reinforce existing hierarchies, or it can reveal what commercial representation leaves invisible: everyday life, vulnerability, contradiction, embodiment, reproductive labor, and local experience.This is also the paradox of the contemporary art world. Its largest and most successful events often resemble commercial fairs, where value is confirmed by systems of exchange rather than artistic inquiry. Yet the market determines only the visibility of art, not the limits of reality itself.Reality always exceeds its representation. הפרויקט הזה עוסק בפאניקה ובתחושת חטא.הפחד מהריון לא עוזב אפילו כשזה מין מוגן. הבדיקה הופכת לווידוי.מול דמות הקדושה אני מרגישה את הלכלוך שלי. אני לא יכולה להיות ״טהורה״.בגוף שלי יש תשוקה, סקס, דם, פחד, בושה.הפאניקה לא מרפה עד שמגיעות הווסת.נדמה שאפשר להיכנס להריון אפילו מרוח הקודש. by @upsidehanna

בפרויקט הזה אני חוקרת את בת ים כמקום שמשקף לי את השאלות והזיכרונות של ההגירה שלי מאוקראינה.הגעתי לשם כדי להתבונן, לשאול מאיפה עזבתי ולמה הייתי צריכה לעזוב.המפגש עם הרחובות, השפה הרוסית, הפנים והמוצרים עורר בי פחד וחרדה – תחושה של זרות שהיא גם מוכרת באופן מאיים.הסדרה מתעדת את המרחבים שמעוררים בי את המתח שבין בית לזרות.היא מבקשת לשקף את החוויה המורכבת של הגירה: את המטען שאנחנו נושאים איתנו, את השאלות שאין להן תשובה אחת, ואת הדרך שבה מקום חדש יכול להרגיש כמו מראה של המקום שעזבנו. by @upsidehanna
