Definitely had to plan on a slow cruise to this iconic NH fall spot!

We expected traffic, but not the hours of backup we saw! Unfortunately, the traffic messed up my timing for the final location on the loop but I’ll plan different next time! The NH colors were 🤯

Cruising into the weekend. Where is your weekend taking you?!

It’s been a while since peak fall colors, but extended work travel has made it hard for me to get any edits in until now. Hoping the 2022 fall train is still rolling.

In honor of one of my favorite drone photog subjects 💥, reviving some tips to help capture those fireworks bangers👇

#dronephotography Fireworks Tips:
1. Composition. Plan your composition ahead of time. Know where the fireworks will be launching and where you will position your drone (I typically shoot for about a 1000' standoff). Don't park your drone overhead of crowds.
2. ND filters. I typically find ND4-8 to be the sweet spot for me. Anything higher completely blows out the foreground. ND4 will maintain a bit more foreground; ND8 will further cut down light/let you stay open longer
3. Staging. Keep your drone at the ready to power on and launch instanly at the first firework launch. Nothing worse than burning batteries with the drone up waiting and missing the finale.
4. Settings. Use custom settings, 100iso, start with ~3" exposure, snap a few shots and preview and make minor adjustments from there
5. The Capture. Try out a few differnt things here. If you want the trailing streaks up and explosion, watch the launches and click as teh fireworks first take flight up. Wanting multi-explosion shots? Watch the flight and try to click right before the 1st explosion, giving you the best chance for multiple explosions in one exposure.
6. The Finale. Be sure to reduce your shutter for the finale, as the more frequent launches will quickly blow out your shots.

What screams spring more… Warmer weather or the start of ⚾️ season?!

Season opener of our local @Milb baseball team the @rumbleponiesbb. Caught a few drone shots of the post-game firework show.

Fireworks Are definitely top 💯favorite subjects to capture by drone. I love the challenge and the results when you get the settings just right! Have you tried it?

Here’s to the end of ❄️🥶 and hello 🌱🌷🌤

The switchbacks on this road were 😳, especially with no guardrails and not in comtrol from the driver seat. But man oh man do the Colorado roads look good from above.

It’s currently 18 degrees outside 🥶 So I guess I’ll post a few more snow shots. March has been a whirlwind of temps here. Last weekend was sunny and 70 deg. This week we got ❄️

We’ve been getting hints of warmer spring weather. Here’s to hoping April is kinder.

As The Sun Goes Down ☀️

Took the scenic route to watch the Colorado sunset from the top after a long day of shredding the slopes. What a view and experience from 12,000ft! Colorado landscapes are just something else.

Coming’ Around The Bend // Had the opportunity to visit some friends in Denver, CO early December and do some shredding at the slopes. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of snow or runs open but still a great time!

Of course we took the scenic route on the trip back to grab drone pics. It was quite windy and the drone was throwing warnings galore, but I loved the way the light was hitting the mountains and had to get some shots! Colorado definitely didn’t disappoint!
