🍊🏀 The Syracuse Men’s basketball team, Coach Gerry McNamara and Otto the Orange stopped by Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital for a fun-filled day of making slime, playing games and spending time with our patients and families!

A special thank you to the Lally Foundation for its generous support and to our Child Life team for bringing this special experience to our patients. We loved having the Orange in the house! 🎃 THANK YOU Spirit of Children and Spirit Halloween for bringing the party to us today! Now, all of our patients have a costume for the big day 🥹

Over the years, the Spirit of Children foundation has provided the Child Life Program with monetary donations to support our gaming program, iPads for hospitalized patients, and the Child Life Fellowship Program.

Happy National Physician Assistant Day! 🩺 Today, we’re spotlighting Olivia Myers, MS, PA-C, who cares for patients from newborns through age 21 at Upstate Pediatrics.

“I feel lucky to be in a field where I get to make connections with patients and their family! Becoming a PA has allowed me to choose the specialty that best suits me. I have a lot of autonomy in my role but continue to work alongside wonderful physicians. Happy PA Day!”
