Freddie Gibbs & madlib - piñata

Released 2024 by madlib invazion on clear w/ green blob and black/white splatter

Freddie Gibbs isn’t my favorite rapper of all time, but he has some of my favorite collab projects ever. From working with the alchemist, Kenny beats, and even katrynada this album is my favorite of them all. Madlib’s production is simply so unique that every beat catches your ear in a different place. I don’t have to tell you to listen to this album because you already should’ve. Anyways that’s all from me so I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Fleshwater - We’re not here to be loved

Released 2023 by closed casket activities on orange/magenta/green split

Fleshwater is an insane band and to be there for the birth of it felt insanely cool. Seeing this album played out live was such a beautiful experience and you need to see it for yourself as well. Extraordinary droning riffs with angelic vocals laid on top of it are the perfect recipe to get this album stuck in your head in an instant. Honestly this pressing is genuinely one of my favorites in my whole collection. It looks incredible on its own and it looks mesmerizing to spin! Anyways that’s all for today and I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Fatal realm - Demo

Released 2025 by daze on half clear half black

The demo that took over hardcore in mere days is still one of my favorites two years later. Vivid memories of sons of Italy and a massive man throwing me into a folding table to the gift of god breakdown. This album encapsulates the words riff and heavy down to their core. The cross of disbelief feature goes hard as fuck every single time too. It’s a beautiful day so go listen to this album while you run, workout, or just wanna chill. Anyways that’s all from me so I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Epileptic Terror Attack - We’re not the problem

Released in 2000 by putrid filth conspiracy on standard black

I randomly picked up this Swedish thrash-punk record from my local store when I first got into collecting. I had heard another record of theirs on Spotify recommendations a week or so before and I was excited to see their record in person. This record came with lots of cool inserts talking about local skate culture and more punk music to dive into! This record is incredibly abrasive and fast which I’m not usually into on a causal level but this record does it very well! I highly recommend giving these guys a listen since it won’t take long haha. Anyways that’s all from me and I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Del! The funkee homosapien - Phoney Phranchise

Released 1999 by hiero imperium on standard black

This little single fell into my hands thanks to the guys at my local record store and I can’t thank them enough. Not only is the art for this release dope as fuck but it has my personal favorite Del track on the b side!! I don’t normally have a lot of singles/remix 12”s but this one is special and I love the instrumental to phoney phranchise as well. Not much else to say but go bump this track today to treat your ears right. That’s all from me and I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Del! The funkee homosapien - No need for alarm

Released 1993 by elektra on standard black

Another classic album from Del full of earworm hits was dropped into my lap ~2 years ago, and after I discovered this Del became one of my all time favorite rappers. He flows so uniquely and has the most insane vocabulary that at times doesn’t make sense but the flow of the bar goes insanely hard. No audio today because I included a tf2 edit I made to “you’re in shambles”. What more can I say that just bump this album now that it’s nice out and have a good time! I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl

Del! tha funkee homosapien - I wish my brother George was here

Released 1991 by elektra records on standard black

Were back on track with one of my favorite del releases! This album has so many fun tracks like “sleepin’ on my couch” and “ya lil’ crumbsnatchers” where it just feels like having fun in the studio talking about real life. One of my favorite all time rap songs is on here as well being “mistadobalina” with an awesome vocal sample. Del always has the most interesting flows and strange words to keep your mind intrigued. As always I highly recommend checking out today’s album and blasting it loud. Anyways I hope y’all have a good day :^) by @upward.vinyl
