The fonts I use the most.

Typography is a small detail, but it plays a big role in how content is perceived.

Over time, I’ve found a few fonts that work consistently across different types of visuals — clean, readable and adaptable.

Keeping things simple usually works best.

From S-Log3 to the final look.

Shooting in S-Log3 allows you to capture more dynamic range and keep more information in both highlights and shadows.

That’s why the image looks flat at first — it’s designed to be flexible in post-production.

The first step is converting it to Rec.709 to bring it back to a natural base.

From there, color grading helps shape the final mood, contrast and overall look.

This is where the image really starts to come together.

And honestly, tools like DaVinci Resolve make this process much more controlled and precise.

Color grading isn’t just about making things look better — it’s about making them feel right.

The rule of thirds is one of the simplest ways to improve your composition.

Instead of placing your subject in the center, you divide the frame into thirds and position key elements along those lines or intersections.

This creates more balance, more depth and a more natural feel to the image.

But it’s not just about where you place the subject.
You can use it in different ways:

• Subject in focus → placing the subject on a third to guide attention
• Background in focus → using the subject as a secondary element to give context
• Negative space → leaving room in the frame to create a cleaner and more intentional composition

The goal is not to follow the rule perfectly, but to use it as a guide to create stronger visuals.

You’re not a bad freelancer. You just need a system.

For a long time, I thought working more would fix everything.
But the real problem was lack of structure.

Without a system, everything feels chaotic:
projects, ideas, deadlines…

Since I started organizing my work properly using Notion, everything changed.

Planning became easier.
Execution became faster.
And the work started to feel more controlled.

It’s not about working more.
It’s about working with intention.

Practicing simple scenes like this has been one of the best ways to improve my eye.

But this time I learned a few things I’ll definitely carry into the next shoots:

• Shooting everything in one day makes a big difference
• Keeping frames clean is key — anything that doesn’t add, distracts
• Light consistency matters more than you think (different lighting completely changes the feel of the sequence)

And probably the most important one:

Even if it’s not perfect, keep going and publish your work.
Looking back in a few years is where you really see the progress.

Still learning. Still improving.
