Another October, another Inktober!

This year, I planned something truly different! I’ve been participating in Inktober since 2017, and since 2018, I’ve been following the official prompts, creating illustrations, characters, and even stories. But this year, for the first time, I decided to create my own prompt list!

So, I present to you my “URATOBER” prompt list for this year’s #Inktober!

Create whatever you want based on each day’s prompt. It can be digital art, traditional art, pixel art, or even just a simple sketch. Then, share your creation using the hashtags #UraTober and #UraArtz!

And don’t feel pressured to participate every single day! The idea is to keep it fun. Even if you don’t draw, feel free to use any other form of artistic expression to bring your ideas to life! XD

I hope you enjoy it and have fun following along with the very first UraTober! hehe

This year's Inktober was the most difficult and satisfying I've participated in since I started in 2017. A lot happened this month: I felt unwell, traveled, and even thought I wouldn't be able to finish.
My initial idea was to have narrated videos along with the drawings every day, but due to feeling unwell, the videos ended up being postponed to November. This isn't the first time I've created a story for Inktober, but I would say this was the most rewarding. It's a story that follows the growth of my character, divided into three parts, at ages 17, 22, and 26. It was my best project to date, and I plan to refine it, better closing this story in the future. The art for the first and last drawing was designed to give a sense of cycle.
I hope you enjoyed following this story throughout the month. And, as always, I am Ura. Take care and stay hydrated!
