SimRacing team of URANO - an IT solutions provider

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a journey: We say ‚Thank you‘ & ‘Good Bye’!

URANO eSports was founded in September 2020 with the ambition to offer young talents a platform in SimRacing and to support them on their way to becoming one of the world's best.

After just over 3 years, we can look back on an overall great team with great personalities and outstanding successes.

We are proud that some of our drivers are now or will be driving for top international teams such as @teamredlinesim, @williamsesports or @apexracingteam and have thus permanently established themselves at a world-class level.

We can also look back on great successes from a team perspective. Starting with an outstanding and for us very significant partnership with @mercedesamgmotorsport, to German championships, winning the @adac GT 500 as part of the @adac_simracing_expo to race victories at @iracingofficial Special Events, continuous participation in the @porsche eSports Supercup or most recently the championship in the @bmwmmotorsport SimCup.

However, alongside all of these positive developments, we must acknowledge that the professional SimRacing scene has evolved. Due to the increasing consolidation of the driver market into fewer teams with high financial strength, it seems impossible to us to continue to operate at the current level with reasonable effort.

URANO eSports will therefore retire from professional racing operations on December 31, 2023. It is therefore time to thank all partners, fans and especially our active and former drivers for a great and eventful time.

Until the end of the year, we will continue to give our all, especially in the iRacing Special Event Fuji 8h, the final race of the BMW M Simcup season and the IMSA Global eSports Challenge – to say “Good Bye” and “See you again” at the highest level of our beloved sport.
