POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi! My name is Gaby Alonso-Carmona and I am Urban 1111 Design’s founder and principal designer.

When I created Urban 1111 Design in 2017 I had no idea the company would grow into a family of creative and innovative interior designers who are committed to excellence and unparalleled design. We believe creative designs are the result of meaningful dialogue and trust between the interior designer and client. In every project, we strive to fully understand our clients’ needs and apply their feedback and ideas into our designs. We believe that a crucial part of any design process is the initial design brainstorm between the client and the designer. We are here to listen to our clients wants and needs, and transform them into truly beautiful works of art.

Urban 1111 Design is my dream and passion and I hope to one day make your dreams and passions a reality through design.

Another tip of the day! Bryce’s, our athlete and plant lover designer, tip of the day is about decorating with plants:

When adding (living) plants to a space I always consider the physical plant itself. Can this plant survive if I place it here? An easy tip you can do is research! If you’re not sure if your plant will survive in the area you place it in you can easily look it up and see what conditions your plant needs to survive. I also think about the plant height when decorating with plants. Luckily our client for this residential project had a whole collection of plants to choose from. In this image you can see we have 3 plants. One big guy on the left, and two smaller plants on the right. The cactus on the left is big enough to balance out the two plants on the right. It is also fun to add different varieties of plant shape such as trailing plants that you see on the right! Overall plants are a fun way to add so much visual interest in your space! Just don’t forget to water them 🌿💦
