My #1 happy place is underwater. It’s even better with friends. There’s nothing like being vulnerable to the mighty power of the sea and basking in its tranquility, being one with yourself, your breath, and being surrounded by so much life. #scuba #scubalife #coconuttreediveshop #ocean taken in Coconut Tree Divers & Go Pro Caribbean by @urbanponi

Some say August is slow in Palm Springs, but we were absolutely haulin’ at The Other Side of Chill Bar! 🛻💨 Nearly 300 packed the room, danced off the desert heat w Chill’s AC, & made this our biggest Sunday yet. taken in Chill Bar Palm Springs by @urbanponi

Everyone meet Junipurr! I’ve officially adopted this sweet baby as the newest member to the Pony Cat Corral. She’s the sweetest pumpkin ever and I’m in love. I rescued her from the feral colony I feed each week. Normally we will trap-neuter-and release, but it’s obvious she wanted to stay and be a part of the family. She is approximately 9 or 10 months old, already had a litter of kittens, so she’ll probably remain the cute-mini-bean-sized size that she is. I’m a single dad of 3 cats now 😳 and so far it seems like every is jiving together 🤞 It looks like my two girls are gonna be besties 👯‍♀️ by @urbanponi

Good things come in threes — like three performances of the Palm Springs Desert Winds this coming week!

The Palm Springs Desert Winds Jazz Quartet has been selected to perform in the first MacCallum Community Jazz Jam on Saturday, June 13th. Come out and support the Palm Springs Desert Winds Jazz Quartet!

On Monday, June 15th, The Palm Springs Desert Winds will be performing musicals from literary sources drawing from its recent Spring Concert — From Book to Stage — at the Plaza Theatre at 7:30pm. This is a FREE concert.

The Palm Springs Desert Winds Jazz Quartet, Sax Quartet, and POPS band will be playing at Village Fest on June 18th.

We hope to see you at one or at all

My first season with Desert Winds Freedom Band @desertwindsps has officially come to a close. Before joining, I hadn’t played the trombone in 15 years since high school. It took a while for me to get my chops back, but playing with this band has been such a joyful and enriching experience every week I’m learning more and improving my skills. Making music together has been magical. I can’t wait for our next season – our 25th anniversary! #trombone #makemusic #nerd by @urbanponi

I forgot to add this to my last reel 😆 back when me and my folks thought I’d be a famous child actor. I went on like 2 auditions for commercials and took an acting class but never got a gig :/ maybe I looked cuter than JTT and they weren’t ready to replace him 😆 by @urbanponi
