🏀🔥 A Historic Moment for URBE Athletics!👏🏻🙌🏻

In the very first season of our varsity program, Head Coach Jeffrey Steel has been named 2026 NSAC Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year.

Leading the URBE University Tigers to an incredible 20–2 overall record and a perfect 6–0 conference run, Coach Steel guided our team to the New South Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship — an extraordinary achievement for a program in its inaugural year.

This recognition reflects the passion, leadership, and competitive excellence that define URBE Athletics.

The Tigers are here.
And this is only the beginning. 🐯🔥
Congrats Coach Jeffrey 🔥

Last week, the Tigers had the incredible opportunity to take the floor and practice at the Miami HEAT Arena. 🐅🏀

A special experience, preparing for battle, and staying grateful through it all.

Standards established. Expectations understood. Vision shared.

This week our onboarding meeting was about establishing who we are, what we represent, and the standard we will uphold everyday.

The work starts now. 🐅

We’ve been putting the work in all summer. Now it’s about trusting what we’ve built. 🐅

It’ll all be worth it when the work starts to show. 🏀⏳

Proud of the work this group has been putting in, but we know there’s still more ahead.

We’re excited to officially welcome Moni Anderson to our Men’s Basketball staff as an Assistant Coach!

With a strong background as a former player and coaching experience at both the youth and high school levels, Coach Anderson brings valuable basketball knowledge, energy, and a passion for player development to our program.
