Our first Valentine’s Day looks a little different this year… and a lot more perfect ❤️ One month and two weeks in, and you’ve already redefined what love means to us in the sweetest way possible! On January 1, 2026, God blessed my family in the most incredible way. 💙
De’Ante Romale Howard Jr. entered the world weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and measuring 20 inches, my New Year’s miracle.

All glory, honor, and praise to God and Jesus Christ, who went before us and covered my wife through an outstanding and amazing birth.

@urdoseofvitamnb, I didn’t even know it was possible to love you more, but witnessing this experience has taken my love to another level. You are strong, intentional, driven, focus, and absolutely amazing. I love you a thousand times more than I did yesterday. I love every ounce of you and everything about you, and I am so proud of you.

I also want to thank our village. Thank you to @__endurance, my mother in law @lvanpelt1 . Thank you to @ii.insproductions_ “Bunky”. Let’s not forget about my mom @nitaboo_224 , grandma Patricia Marbly, my dad (Keyshia) your calls, check-ins, and daily follow-ups have meant more than you know.

I thank God for each and every one of you for helping my wife and me through something we’ve never experienced before, parenthood.

Mannn how funny life is smh! My wonderful 38th birthday was December 31st and a family New Year toast in pajamas was the extra perfect way to bring in the New Year… so I thought! By 2:48AM I had the 2nd worst contraction ever but because I had a long talk with unborn baby DJ, I just knewwww he’d give me at least to the 8th before his arrival🙄! So, I laid back down only to hop out the bed for a 3rd time at 4:45AM heading to the bathroom buuut was quickly stopped by my water breakingggg 😐! I woke up the Hubby and we made a call to our wonderful Coach/Trainer/Friend/Doula, Elon and decided to labor at home for a long as we could which ended up being 2hrs before heading to Hospital! There’s truly sooooo many details in between to where I could talk for hours (later post) but, let’s just skip to the good part… 11hrs in labor, 2hrs of active (pushing) labor, no epidural, and a vaginal birth later!! I introduce yalls beautiful and handsome nephew, De’Ante Romale Howard Jr, born 1/1/2026 weighing 7lbs 11.8oz and 20inches long! Delivering DJ was hard yet completely magical and I’d do it 1 trillion times over!! Jesus, “we thank you” will never be enough… by @urdoseofvitamnb

Although maternity photos have never been something of interest to me, I’m so glad I went on to capture these life changing moments. Me being pregnant for the first time has been such a beautiful, soft, serenading journey in so many ways! My baby boy has been so good to me and I not only pray that his beautiful ways continue, but i pray that i’ll be an even better mother to him! To my man, my husband… being pregnant with your baby has been a complete dream! Better than I could’ve ever imagined even with the inevitable bumps and dips. The way you have stepped up to become a better man for yourself and us has shown/shows me every single day that our baby is already so blessed to have a father who leads with love, intention, and growth. Marrying you was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and now, may our ever blossoming union birth our greatest blessing yet! We can’t wait to meet you DJ ❤️❤️❤️

I knew that marrying Mr. Howard would without a shadow of a doubt work, but this honeymoon confirmed my already preexisting knowledge times infinity!! We had the absolute BEST time in Playa Del Carmen! Those who know me, know traveling is my number one most favorite thing to do, and to have a forever life partner who travels and enjoys it as much as I do is such a blessing!
