Y’all at this point my legs don’t even belong to me!!!! Just ran 13.1 Saturday and SOMEHOW I forgot I signed myself up for the Army Ten-Miler this weekend. WHO DOES THAT?! 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

But we OUTSIDEEEEEE!!!!

I got 8 spots left for Rally voice notes! Y’all already know those messages carried me through ATL, so come talk to me while I’m out there questioning every life decision I’ve ever made. Another race loading… because apparently I don’t know how to sit my ass DOWN. 😭🏃🏾‍♀️

Running became bigger than fitness for me. 🏃🏾‍♀️❤️‍🔥

As a woman veteran who’s faced some battles, running became my therapy, my peace, and my reminder that this body is STILL capable of doing some amazing shit.

Thank you @therace_uc for letting me tell my story AND conquer them big ass Atlanta hills 😂⛰️

Many people see who I am today, but they don’t know what God had to bring me through to get here. So here’s a piece of my story not for attention, not for sympathy, but because somebody needs to know that what you’re facing right now does not have to be the end of your story.

11 years ago, I was SICK!

I had a doctor look me in my face and tell me I would die if I didn’t take medication. Do you know what words like that can do to a person? That stayed with me for YEARS! years of fear, wondering, and carrying something somebody else had spoken over my life.

But look at GOD. 🙌🏾

When I look at this picture, I don’t see weight. I see PROOF. Proof that a scary season doesn’t have to be the end of your story. Proof that what was spoken over you does NOT have the final word. Proof that you can pray AND advocate for yourself.

I asked questions. I researched. I fought for answers. I did the work, but GOD did what only God could do. 😭🙌🏾

So if you’re going through something right now wondering if God can turn it around for you
HERE IS MY PROOF.

11 years later, I’m still here. Still standing. Still believing. Still praising Him.

He can restore you.
He can carry you.
He can keep you.
And He can turn it around when you can’t see HOW it’s going to turn around.
