#tbt to last month when my Novi took us to an obstacle course/escape room at the #BeverlyCenter and we had a BLAST getting sweaty while testing our reflexes/coordination/ teamwork/memory/patience!
We even had a bonus mini mini golf game at #bloomingdales where we each won a $25 gift card. A lovely day indeed #instagay #teamNovi taken in Beverly Center by @urikatz

During my routine check at the doctor’s, I asked to check this spot I had on my forehead… Turned out to be cancerous.
Last week got it removed, and I’m so relieved to report that everything went well and I’m doing great. There was a moment when things felt a little more serious and scary than I expected, but here we are.
Moral of the story: go get your skin checked. At least once a year. It doesn’t matter how busy you are, a few minutes in a derm’s chair beats the alternative, every time.
Major shoutout to @felixthemichael, who was there for me through all of it and even bedazzled my Band-Aids because healing doesn’t have to be boring… 💎🩹😘
Now I’ve got a sweet scar and a great story for the grandkids: “you should’ve seen the other guys’ forehead after that bar fight.” 😎
Go book that skin check. Seriously. 💛
