What to expect at Urkha? You’ll find real conversations, steady support, and a place to grow and simply “be yourself.” We are here to build a community that reflects us and embraces everyone by @urkha.team

Why Urkha? Because we’re tired of screens and noise; we need "real connection." We wanted a place where we feel seen, heard, and supported. Something real, something ours... straight from the heart. 🫂 by @urkha.team

Who are we? We are a space that brings us all together, building real connections and growing side by side. At Urkha, we believe that every step we take together shapes our shared path and builds a true sense of belonging. Welcome to our second home. by @urkha.team

Different people, different businesses, one shared purpose.

26 KM brought us one step closer to something bigger.

A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors and businesses who contributed to making this happen. Your support helped turn an idea into something real.

A special thanks to @urkha.team and @ramynoori for going the extra mile to ensure the run was safe and supported, arranging the ambulance, medical assistance, water, and everything needed along the way. Your efforts meant a lot.

And this is only the beginning.

The event details are coming very soon. Stay tuned!

For a better tomorrow. 🤍 by @urkha.team

God gave me a path, and I’m trying to make something positive out of everything He’s given me.

26 KM was never meant to be just a birthday challenge. It’s the beginning of something bigger.

The full video is coming soon.

To the businesses who want to be part of this initiative, there’s still one day to reach out and join the story.

Let’s create something positive for our community and the next generation.🤍 by @urkha.team

26 KM for a bigger purpose

What started as my personal journey is becoming something bigger.

Together with the @urkha.team , we’re working to raise awareness about sports, inspire more young people to get active, and organise a community event that brings people together for a good cause.

We’re looking for businesses interested in sponsoring this initiative and helping us bring this event to life. Businesses can also contribute gifts and vouchers for the challenges and activities planned for the event.

If your business would like to be part of this journey and support a meaningful cause, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s make a difference, together.
For a better tomorrow. 🤍

⸻

Urkha had the pleasure of welcoming representatives of L’Œuvre d’Orient in Iraq.

It was a lovely opportunity to share our journey, talk about what we’ve been working on, and introduce them to the initiatives and activities we’ve carried out so far. We also enjoyed learning more about their work and the organization’s mission.

We’re grateful for this visit, the conversations we shared, and the opportunity to connect with people who care about supporting communities and making a difference.

Looking forward to what future connections and collaborations may bring!

Together on one path. 🤍⁩⁩ by @urkha.team

Meet Urkha Ladies!

Good conversations, meaningful connections, and women showing up for women.

Urkha Ladies brings together women from our community to connect, support one another, share experiences, and create something meaningful together.

Their first gathering took place last Friday, combining an important cause with the simple joy of being together. In recognition of Pink October, the ladies attended a breast cancer awareness session led by a specialized doctor, followed by a cozy tea gathering filled with conversation, laughter, and the familiar warmth of old Ankawa.

The gathering also made a meaningful difference, with 20 free breast screening vouchers provided with the support of Maryamana Hospital. Thoughtful gifts were also presented to the attendees by Urkha Team, while the Catholic University in Erbil hosted the event.

And this is only the beginning! Here’s to more gatherings, stronger connections, and a community where women continue to uplift women.
