Introducing Niceties - This is a project hosted by @zerya.thelabel on the 18th of July. A boutique clothes store on Sydney Rd, Brunswick, who have been kind enough to share their gorgeous room with us.

This is an art exhibition. This exhibition is free; filled with Vinyls, Paintings, Photographs and a (albeit small) bar for anyone wanting a drink. I am excited to introduce you to the art.

More information to come.

Lots of love and I’ll see you all soon,

Introducing @winton_ink

Working across painting, drawing and photo-editing, my art focuses on texture and recreating imaginative landscapes found through distorted perspectives.

“I draw inspiration from abstract photography and photo layering through some iphone apps I like. This approach can provide an endless void of obscure environments I wouldn’t necessarily think of, blending digital and organic moods in the process. I find some of these ideas are best represented in the computerised realm while others become the bones for physical works.” - Winton Findlay taken in Zerya the Label by @urperfectfriend

Introducing Buster Wyzenbeek

“To me this work reflects that unexpected beauty of life that shines through when you least expect it. It’s just that feeling you get. Staring at a skip” - Buster

Introducing Taila Dowsett -

Hey - I’m Taila (pronounced Taylor)… I am a Naarm photographer with a fascination in the bogan canon you could say. I love a hard flash and good chat. My practice is mainly focused around photographing my home town of Dandenong and rewriting the narrative in which mainstream media continually perpetuate. My work reflects this through its tongue in cheek, tender and bloody colourful approach I take to the process. 3175 forever.

Introducing @inkandfae_ - Genie Wedderburn.

Hi! I’m Genie. Scottish lass making a home here in Australia. Self taught oil painter, with a passion for the macabre, fantasy, and nature. I indulge in pastel colour palettes that often depict darker themes. I love dabbling in surreal imagery, and showcasing complex emotion.
