We would like to take a moment to recognize the two incredible groups that could not receive awards at gym champs due to citizenship.

13-19 MXP @acro_v @acro_ya
And
12-18 MXG @strawbbyac1d @luisa.iturri @xtremeacro

Your hard work and talent does not go unseen. Keep working hard!

Repost from @region7acrounited
•
This past Saturday, the apartment building of (4) Region 7 athletes caught fire and the building was destroyed - all belongings were lost. The athletes were not home at the time and are thankfully, unharmed, but, dealing with the aftermath of the event is overwhelming. The acro community has stepped up and R7AU is dedicating our donation link to receiving monetary donations for the athletes between now and May 27th. All proceeds will go directly to the athletes. The athletes will need to replace training and competition attire, as well as, computers, furniture, and personal belongings. If you are not as familiar with those involved, we wanted to share a small testament about each, so you can be familiar with them and their connection with acro. We encourage you to donate if you can afford to do so. Link in bio. ***Grace and Kayla have been in R7 since 2018, and they have accomplished so much since moving from Missouri - just for acro! As members of the U.S Senior National Team, they have been a great source of inspiration for athletes across the U.S. due to their impressively difficult skills and poise in their routines. Beyond acro, Grace and Kayla are avid students in college and high school respectively, and they are also die-hard Green Bay Packers Fans!

David is Grace and Kayla’s younger brother, and he is also a dedicated mixed pair base in R7. David brings a ray of sunshine with him everywhere he goes, and is known around the gym for making people laugh and smile. David is also a high school student and, like his big sisters, an avid Green Bay Packers fan!

Caylei also moved into R7 about a year ago from Missouri, and she is currently in a women’s pair at Xtreme. Caylei has shown what it means to be dedicated - she has continued to work hard and stay involved with acro despite devastating injuries to her group members and other unfortunate setbacks. She is a strong, talented acrobat with a great sense of sportsmanship. *** WE LOVE YOU ALL! by @usa.acrobatics
