The National Association for Campus Activities Student Government Institute gave our SGA the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and bring new ideas back to South! We spent the conference connecting with student leaders from across the country while developing initiatives centered on student engagement, supporting Jaguar Athletics, and creating memorable campus experiences. This year at the Conference on Student Government Associations, hosted by Texas A&M, we were honored to be named “Student Government of the Year” for the second year in a row, and to receive the “Advisor of the Year” award as well! SGA representatives also had the opportunity to give a presentation, sharing insights and successes with peers from across the country.
