Thinking about adding one more competition to October - or trying your first one?

Today, October 16, is the late-registration deadline for the 35th Annual OSU DanceSport Classic in Columbus.

OSU has made this year’s event especially approachable for dancers getting started:

• $40 registration for first-time competitors, even during the late-registration period
• Solo proficiency events for leads and follows
• Amateur events for dancers across age groups
• An evening Team Match
• A sensory-safe space available at the venue

The weekend begins with a Welcome Dance Friday, October 23, followed by competition Saturday, October 24.

Whether this is competition number one or simply your next chance to get on the floor, register by the end of today.

The National Collegiate DanceSport Championships return to Pittsburgh on April 2–4, 2027!

Compete against collegiate dancers from across the country in one of the most exciting weekends of the collegiate DanceSport season - with large, diverse syllabus fields, championship competition, and the chance to be part of the full Nationals experience.

For 2027, collegiate competitors can also look forward to:

**A more streamlined competition schedule
**Five-dance Open events
**More multi-dance events and simpler callbacks
**20% Smaller projected maximum flight sizes
**Opportunities to compete in eligible Adult Amateur events
**The return of the Collegiate Team Match
**Expanded workshops, practice space, and coaching opportunities

And remember: college students do not need to qualify to compete in Collegiate or Adult Amateur events at Nationals in one level. Even better, qualifying can still provide additional competitive opportunities.
