#SUNDAYSPOTLIGHT with @carsyn.waldrop Hey everyone!! My name is Carsyn Waldrop, and I am a member of Phi Mu Kappa Omega’s PC 24!!! 🌺 When I came to college, I was coming off quite the “abnormal” high school experience! I attended 3 different high schools across the state of Alabama, and did not ever expect to call South home! Rushing Phi Mu and being apart of this incredible place has left my cup overflowing time and time again!!! Along with Phi Mu, I am also on the South Alabama Prowlers dance team and a part of Campus Outreach. Throughout all of these programs, I have made friends and memories that will last a lifetime! This past semester, I had the privilege to lead our Phi Mu girls to victory in both Pikefest and Sigma Chi Derby Days!!! My sisters also awarded me with “Most Involved Sophomore” after our semester of success! I can’t wait for this upcoming year in Phi Mu and on campus! Go Jags!!!! 💫 by @usaphimu

Named the Armstrong Scholarship after a Kappa Omega Alum, we are proud to be the only sorority on the row with this opportunity! #MUDUOS with @jaydnlindy and @kailyn_prewitt!!🤍🤍My best friend & sister, Jaydn is the kind of friend who always knows how to put the biggest smile on your face, whether you’re having your best day or your worst. She is such a Godly role model who consistently puts others before herself & leads with kindness & joy. Jaydn truly is a representation of what Phi Mu is all about. Phi Mu is more than a house but rather a home filled with love, encouragement, & sisters who share an unbreakable bond. We strive to put others before ourselves and keep Jesus at the center of everything we do. I’m forever blessed to say I am a Phi Mu & to have my best friend by my side!! -Kailyn Prewitt (PC ‘25)Kailyn is one of those besties that you can’t help but thank Jesus for each day. She is quite literally all things good, compassionate and joyful. I think what I love most about her is how she has never failed to be a listening ear or give encouragement, even if it was hard to hear. And her compassion for others is something I look up to each day. She is my best friend forever and ever! Phi Mu means a lot of things to me. It means sisterhood that runs so much deeper than the letters we wear. It means cheering on your sisters as if you’ve known them all your life, because that is what it feels like. Phi Mu means gaining a bunch of little miracles you never knew you were praying for. I look back on just the first year of being in Phi Mu and realize the little God winks all around!
