Hello! 👋🏻 It’s your 2026-27 APAA Board, led by Phillip Lee, Grace Shiba and Carol Shimazaki. We are very excited for the new year. We have a lot of new ideas and we want to continue a lot of our traditions.

Join the USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association Bay Area Committee and East Bay Trojan Network for a scenic spring hike at Lake Chabot Regional Park.

We’ll take on the scenic Ten Hills / East Shore Loop, beginning at the Lake Chabot Marina Café (note: not the AllTrails trailhead). This moderately challenging 3.6-mile loop includes approximately 450 feet of elevation gain and features beautiful lake views, rolling hills, wildflowers, and shaded oak woodland.

Expect a relaxed, social pace with regrouping along the way. The hike will take approximately 1.5–2 hours and includes mostly dirt trails, with some paved shoreline sections and scenic overlooks.

After the hike, those interested are invited to continue the conversation over lunch nearby (location TBD).

Registration fee: $5 donation to APAA Scholarship fund
