A custom bar can completely change a space 🍸

For @madeline.maki & @ctmaki, we designed this one as a true part of the wedding aesthetic—not simply a place to serve drinks. Working with @somethingpainted_events, the bar was customized with their monogram, pattern and color palette, turning a functional piece into one of the most personal details in the room.

Then came the layers around it: the florals, the styling, the incredible installation overhead, all coming together to make the bar feel like it had always belonged in the space.

This is what we love when designing a wedding —details made specifically for our couples, brought to life beautifully in the space, and even better when we finally see the finished result.

When a couple has a clear vision, our role becomes protecting it through every decision. Katie & Patrick always knew how they wanted their wedding to feel.

Our job wasn’t to reinvent that vision. It was to listen carefully, refine it with intention, and ensure every decision stayed true to it. From the ceremony to the reception, each element built on the last, creating a celebration that felt soft, romantic, and effortlessly cohesive.

We believe that’s where thoughtful design begins, not by following trends, but by staying true to the story our couples want to tell.

Okay, but this view?! Hard to imagine a better backdrop for a wedding reception than this. 😍

From above, the rooftop at The Cape looked pretty incredible...an ivory palette, soft textures, and a sea of candlelight set against the ocean and that impossibly good Cabo sunset. We wanted the design to feel elevated but never compete with the view, and as the sun went down, the whole space just kept getting better.

Candlelight became part of the design itself, echoing the glow over the ocean and giving the whole evening an elegant warmth. And then there were the details that made it theirs, like cutouts of their beloved pups keeping watch at the bar. Personal, unexpected, and exactly the kind of detail we love weaving into a beautifully considered design.

But honestly, our bride’s reaction said it best. That moment when you look around and realize the thing you imagined for months is actually happening right in front of you. Those are the moments that make all the planning worth it...and the ones we never get tired of. 🤍

A beautiful Instagram grid can catch your eye. But when you’re choosing a wedding planner and event designer, experience is what happens beyond the grid.

Mayra & Tino’s wedding is the perfect example.

With only a couple of months to plan and design their celebration, we created four full days of experiences for their guests — each one with its own atmosphere, details and surprises.

And this was only Day One. ✨

For their welcome event, we wanted guests to immediately feel that this was going to be much more than a wedding weekend.

A signature cocktail wall welcomed everyone in. A curated market invited guests to choose their favorite items and build their own welcome bags. A custom surfboard, designed to complement the boho vibe, became a place to leave notes for Mayra & Tino.

Then came the coconut wall, wooden games throughout the evening, a refreshing water station where guests could add a splash of their favorite liquor, mini golf overlooking the Cabo San Lucas Arch, and a champagne lady making her way through the party with glasses topped with cotton candy… 🥂

And there was still so much more.

Pulling together this many details in such a short timeframe isn’t simply about making things look beautiful. It takes years of experience, trusted creative partners, strong production and coordination, and the ability to turn ideas into reality — quickly and cohesively.

Four days. Countless details. So many guest experiences.

One conversation we have with every couple is about color. Not just what colors they love, but how they want their wedding to feel.

For Lacey & Alex, that conversation led us to a palette inspired by golden sunsets, coastal textures, and soft floral tones. Yellow was especially meaningful, but instead of making it the focal point, we layered it throughout the design to create warmth, depth, and subtle moments of contrast.

Designing a palette is never about following trends. It’s about creating something that feels completely connected to the couple, the destination, and the experience they want to share with their guests.

This one will definitely stay on our moodboard for a long time.
