Heads up! The start of the season brings a few changes to policy and registration guidelines.

➡️ New eligibility rules, in accordance with the NCAA Division II rule changes to an age-based model, effective this season
➡️ Pilot registration policy for guest athletes
➡️ Updates to the Competition and Administrative Rules (CAR) Manual, including associate team members and Nationals
➡️ Revisions to our Abuse & Molestation Prevention Policy and reporting requirements

Featured Team: Florida Ski & Snowboard Club 🎿

This month we're spotlighting the @flskiandsnow at the University of Florida, proof that a school without mountains doesn't have to go without winter sports. 🏂

They leave the state to train and race, and they make it work. Fall means dryland training at home. Winter break means an on-mountain training trip. From mid-January through February, they're driving to competitions across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. And in the off-season, plenty of social events keep the community close.

Early bird pricing is live through October 31st, which means this is the lowest rate you'll see all year (only $25 for athletes!).

Ready to bring a new USCSA team to your campus? Here's the lay of the land. ⬇️

First - here are some key terms to know about the process
➡️ An institution is any college or university fielding a team
➡️ And a team is gender and discipline specific (e.g. women's alpine ski, men's freestyle snowboard)

Getting a new USCSA team started at your institution has three steps:
1️⃣ Check to see if your school is already a member of USCSA
2️⃣ Talk to the appropriate department to get approval for a new team
3️⃣ Connect with your Conference or Division Coordinator

Then you should be ready to register your team(s) and your institution.

BONUS: New teams are eligible for registration discounts - reach out to the National Office before you register.

Once you're in, complete the eligibility process for each team to earn your regular license and get your athletes cleared to compete.

March 8–13, 2027, over 650 collegiate athletes across Alpine, Snowboard, Freeski, and Nordic will converge on Bend, Oregon to battle for national team titles.
