What if your engineering idea could become your first startup? 🚀

Vizio founder and alumnus William Wang and his wife, Sakura, have just given @uscviterbi $10 million to launch the William W. Wang Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub (tiehub). @usctiehub

The new hub will give Viterbi students more opportunities to turn ideas into real ventures, with mentorship, hands-on training and support for aspiring founders.

And it’s building on serious momentum: tiehub already supports 70+ student ventures each year. Over the next five years, the goal is to train 2,000+ aspiring founders and help launch 100 startups.

“I want the kids to be proud to be an engineer,” Wang said, “and be comfortable that they can take some chances and be more daring.”

Need patriotic stamps? We've got you covered.

For America's 250th birthday, the U.S. Postal Service is honoring icons from Mister Rogers to Barbie to Alexander Hamilton.

What's missing? USC Trojans.

So we made our own.

Introducing the first five of 14 commemorative stamps honoring USC faculty, alumni and researchers who helped build the modern computing world—the people behind JPEG, the internet's address book, RSA encryption, THX sound, Tetris, Netflix streaming and, yes, Apple Computer.

They're also animated. Enjoy! #uscviterbi #usctrojans #fighton #trailblazers by @uscstevenscomputingai

Meet five more pioneering Trojans honored in our commemorative stamp series!

Leading this batch: Maja Mataric, a trailblazer in socially assistive robotics whose work has shaped how machines help and connect with people.

Alongside her, this collection celebrates USC Viterbi School of Engineering faculty, alumni, and researchers whose breakthroughs span robotics and spatial audio to the invisible infrastructure that keeps the internet running — technology most of us rely on every single day. #uscviterbi #USCTrojans #fighton #trailblazers by @uscstevenscomputingai
