🌱HAPPY 9TH ANNIVERSARY TO “MERMAIDS DAGGER” !!! 🌊

⏩️SCROLL FOR A TIMELAPSE OF THIS ILLUSTRATION⏩️

A more in depth update is posted now on webtoon as well as some artwork I managed to put together. (which I think you’ll wanna see- just saying-) But on a serious note, This year has not been kind to me unfortunately, while I’m grateful for many things, this year sucked 😂🥲-

To save you the trouble if you just want to know if it’s back or not, unfortunately it is not. It’s explained better in the update in webtoon but it is due to my persisting medical issues. Thank you for still being here and for your support. I’m grateful.

I hope you all had a better year than me and here’s to hoping 2026 is better.

Much Love, Useros

AFTER 11 YEARS- MY SHAYLAS- 😭😭 THE DARK DRAGON AND THE HAPPY HUNGRY BUNCH IS BACK BABY!! 🩷🖤🩵💙💚💛🤍 🐲🐉

⏩️⏩️SWIPE FOR TIME-LAPSES + an old Cosplay! ⏩️⏩️ (one for sketch/inking and one for coloring) and also on the last slides my shinah cosplay I did years ago! (Cosplay account tagged @useros_cosplay )

if you haven’t heard and I’m the first to break it to you- (OMG-) Yona of the Dawn (Akatsuki no Yona) is getting a second season in the anime!! RAHHH— I’m gonna be so annoying about this fr- I get to see Hak animated again- I’m going to be unwell-

I found out like idk 12 or so days ago that the manga was ending and I was so sad- cuz I fell off reading it with all my medical issues going on; but I was also excited cuz I could binge the story- then like the next day or maybe the same day idk - I heard rumors of season 2 being confirmed and I about died- then the creator confirmed it and I couldn’t resist the temptation to draw them- I love them so so so much and I can’t wait to see them on my screen once again and to see some characters no one has seen yet animated! I can’t wait- Yona of the Dawn is one of my all time favorite series, it holds such a special place in my heart 😭 To end the year with such great news is so so amazing- this year has honestly sucked for me but to end on such a good note with something to look forward to is something I desperately needed. 🥹 I hope you enjoy my first of many fanarts of Yona of the Dawn- I def want to do more, but this took me so long and I even used my comic tricks to help try and make the process quicker/easier and it still took forever and my body hates me 😓 but I did it, it’s a little stiff but I haven’t been drawing much due to pain anyway so I’m okay with how it came out and more importantly I had fun drawing it and that’s what matters~ 🩷🖤

Anyways~ that’s all~ so so so excited for Yona of the Dawn Season 2!!! 😆😆😆 if you’re also a fan let me know how excited you are down below too!

“—Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time. For the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case. But, America if it is: Let us fill the sky with the light of a billion brilliant stars.” - Madam Vice President Kamala Harris

🦋 It’s been hard these past few weeks. Almost a month ago on July 27th 2024, my Nana passed away. For my entire life she has been like a second mom, both her and my Papa who has also passed (2021), have been like a second set of parents. I had the privilege of being close by and being able to spend time with her everyday leading up to her passing. So many fun and goofy memories to look back on and cherish. I wish there was more time and that I wasn’t where I’m currently at with my own medical issues so I could’ve done more with her, but I am beyond grateful for all that I had and have with my nana. She gave her all and lived with so much love to give. She was always supportive and so caring and kind. She did have some- who am I kidding A LOT of sass and I know I got mine from her carried down through my mom. The only thing I did that she didn’t like that I did was dye my hair purple, she gave me the stink eye for a whole week 😂 but eventually came around.

I will miss her so much, her smile, her laugh, her hugs, her commentary on shows we watched. (Mainly Bridgerton 😂) and so much more.

Now she is up with the love of her life, my Papa, dancing away in the clouds together again after three long years apart. I’ll miss them both forever I think. I love you Papa. I love you Nana. Rest easy okay. Love you so much. 🩵💜

⚔️🌊HAPPY BIRTHDAY CEASAR🌊⚔️ ✨✨🎂🎊🎉 (07/16)

Not much in my situation has changed unfortunately but while my body allowed over the last couple weeks I managed to finish this to celebrate Ceasar’s birthday.

Im hoping there isn’t much longer to go of my medical issues and pain, but I honestly don’t know. I can’t wait to return once I’m able, until then, Happy Birthday to Ceasar!

(Materials: Card-stock, mechanical pencil, Micron ink pens, colored pencils, white jelly roll pen )

This trend kept popping up and I couldn’t resist anymore! I drew this a few weeks ago and it gave me the chance to practice drawing characters in different weather and lighting so! It’s a win! Hope you guys like it!
