🔴⚪🔵 HELP US BUILD USPC WISCONSIN 🔴⚪🔵

As USPC Wisconsin continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our USPC Judging Team.

Whether you’re an experienced official or someone looking to get started in judging, we’d love to have you involved in building powerlifting across Wisconsin.

USPC Judge Requirements:
✅ 18 years of age or older
✅ Competed in at least two sanctioned powerlifting meets (any federation)
✅ Pass the USPC Online Judge Exam with a 90% or higher
✅ Complete the Functional Exam within 90 days

Already judge for another federation?

Good news! Active judges from other federations are welcome to join USPC at their current certification level—no need to resign from your current federation.

Our goal is simple:
🏆 Build a knowledgeable, professional judging team.
🏆 Grow quality powerlifting throughout Wisconsin.
🏆 Give every lifter the best possible platform experience.

Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you’re ready for a successful day on the platform.

✔️ Knee sleeves/wraps (if applicable)

✔️ Shoes you’ll compete in

Don’t let meet day be the first time you use your equipment.

Before competition, make sure you’ve trained in:
✅ Your singlet
✅ Belt
✅ Knee sleeves or wraps
✅ Wrist wraps
✅ Deadlift socks
✅ Shoes you’ll compete in

Small changes in equipment can affect your setup, balance, bar path, and confidence.

The more familiar your gear feels, the more you can focus on what really matters—making successful lifts.

Meet day should never be a test of your equipment. It should be a test of your strength.

Train how you plan to compete.

🔴⚪🔵 TIP TUESDAY — STAY WITH THE BAR 🔴⚪🔵

One of the easiest ways to earn white lights?

🏋️ Finish every lift under control.

Don’t rush to celebrate before the lift is complete.

✅ Lock the weight out.
✅ Stay in control.
✅ Wait for the judges’s command.
✅ Finish the lift before celebrating.

Many good lifts turn into red lights simply because the lifter loses focus at the very end.

The platform rewards strength and discipline.

Complete the lift.
Listen for the command.
Then celebrate.
