Day 4 of building Usra Productions.

Today's mission was finding a new office.
It's not because we needed but It was about changing our environment.

@jamiezhu and I spent the day looking at different spaces around the city because we both realised something…

The people you're surrounded by, the conversations you have, and the environment you work in all shape the person you become.

We visited five or six places, and by the last one, we both looked at each other and knew…
This was it.

Sometimes building a business isn't just about working harder.

Day 3 of building Usra Productions.

Today was about gathering the proof.

For years I kept saying I only do weddings, but looking back, I’ve filmed a lot more than I realised, projects connected to Netflix, SBS, KIIS 1065, Chery cars, UAE Embassy, hotels, restaurants, brands, influencers, and events across Australia, Europe, America, Mexico and the Middle East.

This company might be new, but the experience behind it isn’t. by @usraproductions

Day 2 of building Usra Productions.

Today was all the unsexy stuff.
Creating the Instagram.
Buying the domain.
Making the professional email.
Registering the business name.

But honestly, this is the part that makes it feel real.

For a long time, this was just an idea I kept pushing away because I was comfortable being known as “just a wedding filmmaker.”

Now it has a name, a place, and a beginning. by @usraproductions

Day 1 of building my production company.
This one has been sitting in my head for a long time.
For the last 12 years, I’ve been known mostly as a wedding filmmaker. And every time someone asked me to film something outside of weddings, I’d usually say the same thing.
“I only do weddings.”
But deep down, I always knew there was more I wanted to build.
So this is the start of something new.
I’m going to take you guys with me through the whole process, the name, the website, the mistakes, the ideas, the first clients, the doubts, all of it.
Nothing fancy, just day one.
And today’s only task was choosing the name. by @usraproductions
