Still trying to process what happened in St. John Carnival 2026. ❤️

I honestly feel like I finally won the hearts of my Virgin Islanders.

From Saturday until literally today, the calls, messages, videos, and conversations haven’t stopped. Everybody keeps telling me this was my best performance yet… which is crazy because y’all said the same thing after King of the Wing.

That only tells me one thing—I’m growing. My stage presence is growing. My confidence is growing. And I’m slowly becoming the artist and star I’ve always believed I could be.

To my band… THANK YOU.

My bassy @mo.zi.ah, thank you for always holding it down. To the man who stepped in and absolutely saved the day, @daddyoprodz. To our newest and youngest member, “The Mixologist,” @prod_tori. And last but never least, the backbone of this band, Hollywood.

With little to no rehearsal together, we still gave people a show they’ll never forget. That’s what happens when talent meets trust.

To my dancers @officialx.mood… y’all had ONE day to rehearse with me and absolutely murdered it. I forgot how incredible it feels having y’all beside me on that stage. It honestly felt like we never missed a beat.

My girls @aria.monroe @mimiboo_amor @te_amm0 @kueen.chanest… love y’all forever. ❤️ And big love to Mood’s manager @siQuon for capturing these moments for all of us.

People always ask how everything comes together and looks the way it does.

One man… @anibbs‼️

From the preparation to the execution, you’re one of the biggest team players I’ve ever worked with. Whatever needs to get done, you make it happen at a level I honestly don’t think the Virgin Islands has seen before. You know how to make your artist look and feel like a star. Thank you for keeping this train moving.

To my friends and family… y’all never miss a show. Every time I look down and see y’all in front of that stage, it feels like home. The day I run out there and don’t see y’all… I might have a problem. 😂❤️

And finally, thank you to @usvifestivals for another unforgettable opportunity.

Freedom was never given. It was demanded. 🇻🇮

On July 3, 1848, thousands of enslaved Virgin Islanders stood together in Frederiksted, St. Croix, determined that the time for freedom had come. Their courage changed history.

That victory echoed across St. Thomas and St. John, forever transforming the Virgin Islands and leaving a legacy that continues to inspire generations.

Today, during the St. John Celebration, we honor that legacy through music, dance, storytelling, and remembrance. Every step, every drumbeat, every conch shell, and every tradition reminds us that our culture is rooted in resilience, sacrifice, and the unbreakable spirit of our people.

Twenty years ago, TEMPO was founded on a simple belief: that Caribbean stories deserve to be told by Caribbean people. We owe that opportunity to the generations before us who fought for the freedom to preserve our identity, our culture, and our voice.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we remain committed to sharing the stories that unite the Caribbean, honoring those who came before us, celebrating those carrying the torch today, and inspiring those who will shape our future.

Some artists perform.
