~25% of college students have been affected by divorce. If you grew up in the instability and anxiety of divorce, separation, and extreme conflict between parents, you’re not alone. Thomas and a few other students at UT are launching a college chapter of Lifegiving Wounds. This national organization helps adult children of divorce unpack the lasting effects of their high-conflict households and make sense of their stories in a safe and understanding community. Each week you’ll get to join other college students as you’re led through discussions and learn to grow out of negative generational patterns and coping mechanisms.

UT’s Lifegiving Wounds will meet 7:30-8:30pm in the St. Thomas More Library at the UCC starting this Monday, September 21. Sign-up at our linktree to get more information about the first session!

We know that this might feel like a lot to commit to… we get it! Addressing divorce is really difficult. By filling out the form, you’re not committing to the full semester, you’re just signing up to come try out the first session and decide if you think it will be helpful for your mental health, relationships, and faith life. We are praying for you and hope to see you there :)
