The party kicks off TOMORROW with the REDWEST Pre-Party featuring Chase Rice, and the country music continues Friday and Saturday with an incredible lineup including Ella Langley, Shaboozey, Koe Wetzel, Sam Barber, Tucker Wetmore, and more!

🚨 **FOOD VENDOR SCAM ALERT** 🚨

Scammers are impersonating the Utah State Fairpark and falsely offering food vendors spots at events. Unfortunately, multiple vendors have already lost thousands of dollars.

Please remember:

• We will **NEVER take payment over the phone**
• We will **NEVER charge an application fee before acceptance**
• For large festivals and events (such as Redwest), we will **NOT request payment through Venmo**
• Always check the sender’s email address carefully before paying (Fairpark staff emails ALWAYS end with "@utahstatefair.com")

If you are unsure whether an invoice or acceptance is legitimate, please call us at **801-538-8400** before sending payment.

Please share this warning with other food trucks and vendors. Similar scams are happening at fairs and venues across the country.

A night at Utah’s Own Rodeo that was a little more pink than usual. 💗

It was an honor to be part of an evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness and to stand alongside so many who have been touched by this fight. From the arena to the stands, the support was felt all night long.

Went to the Utah State Fair this past weekend. The display of award winning creative arts was amazing. So many talents to be celebrated. I personally loved the glass mosaic art, the gourd sculptures, the massive butter cow sculpture, and the giant pumpkins.

What caught my attention most was in the needlework displays there was a group, called the Bonneville Tatters (see last 2 photos) that gets together to do tatting. Taylor showed me the basics of this beautiful art and I was surprised by what can be done with one simple stitch. If you are interested in learning. It’s a free and fun group of men and women.

Tender, flavorful meat on warm tortillas topped simply with fresh cilantro, diced onion and lime. So good and a nice break between all the fried fair food!
