Read Caption‼️ (Eeesshhhh, this is so cringe)

After months of procrastination and a lot of valuable time flushed down the toilet, I’ve decided (hopefully for the last time) to take myself seriously.

Coming back home from school, I was excited. I was ecstatic and pumped with so much motivation to develop myself. Few weeks later, I fell into a deep hole of procrastination and then 1 day of not doing the work turned into a week, a week turned into a month, and a month into two months.
1. I stopped the UI/UX course I was taking.
2. I stopped a telecom course I was taking.
3. I stopped attending my accountability meetings.
4. I haven’t read a book in weeks, and so on.

Well, after a lot of self talk, stylishly asking for help on X, continuous questions from my mum, and a surprise mentor, I’m ready to take myself seriously again (for like the 100th time)

I’m an aspiring UI/UX designer, but not just that I want to be intellectually sound, and financially literate. I want to try anything and everything my brain chooses do.

I’ve been a chronic procrastinator and I suck at being consistent with things, but I really hope that changes, so I’ll be documenting my journey here. by @ute.learns

Progress report🙋🏾‍♀️: With the help of @gizki.ux , for the past 9 days I’ve been completing different design tasks, which was basically replicating designs I was given.
It has been very helpful in getting me out of my inconsistent phase since it involves working with a deadline, getting constructive feedback, and having to figure out how to accomplish the design.
I’ll post the designs another time, but yeah that’s the progress I’ve made in my UI/UX journey so far✍🏾 by @ute.learns
