Faces of Waiting

New York, outside a UN

Shot on the Leica Q, 28mm.
A few faces, a moment of waiting, and a city moving around them.
In a crowd, sometimes one face tells the whole story.

Between light and shadow, every space tells a different story.

Captured at the National Library, Education City — where architecture, silence, and light come together to shape the frame.

Shadows carving geometry.
Reflections bending reality.
A quiet photo walk through Education City — chasing light with my Leica Q 28mm.
Where architecture meets contrast.

Education City, Doha.
The last light settles slowly —
spreading across the ground, climbing the structure, dissolving into the sky.
Shot at 28mm, the space opens up —
lines stretch, curves lead, and silence fills the frame.
No movement, no rush.
Just architecture holding the light for a moment longer.

Geometry of Silence

@educationcity.qa has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration.
Not only for its architecture, but for the way light moves through its spaces, creating new compositions with every passing hour.

In this frame, contrast, shadows, and geometry become the main subjects. The human figure appears only briefly, adding scale to a space already shaped by light.

Black and white strips away distraction, leaving only form, texture, and the dialogue between light and shadow.

Education City, Doha.

In black and white, light becomes everything.
It shapes the frame, defines the lines, and gives silence a form.

Shot at Leica Q2 28mm — wide enough to hold the space,
simple enough to let the light speak.

Three frames. Three quiet pauses in the msheireb downtown city.

A man in blue, seen from behind — waiting with his bag, suspended between departure and return.
In another reflection, a delivery worker siting, carrying the stillness of exhaustion and uncertainty.
And finally, circular shadows folding into one another — where light turns architecture into rhythm.

Shot at 28mm with the Leica Q — wide enough to hold the space, intimate enough to preserve the silence inside it.
