Residential Design Studio & Cabinetry in Boulder, CO
Creating thoughtful homes with smart layouts specializing in kitchens and baths.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit @ballerinakuechen in Germany and experience firsthand what goes into the cabinetry we are offering at UV Design Co in Boulder.

What stood out to me came down to three things: innovation, quality, and people.

Innovation is everywhere, but always with a purpose. Thoughtful storage solutions, clever details, and an incredible range of materials and finishes create opportunities to design kitchens that are not only beautiful, but also highly functional.

Then there is the quality. Seeing the manufacturing process firsthand gave me an even greater appreciation for the precision, engineering, and attention to detail behind every cabinet. These details may not always be obvious in a photograph, but they make a meaningful difference in how a kitchen looks, feels, and performs over time.

And finally, the people. Meeting the team behind Ballerina and seeing the knowledge, pride, and care they bring to their work made the experience even more meaningful. A big shoutout to @jmparcels of @ballerinakitchens_usa for his dedication and his style!

For me, representing a cabinetry line is about more than choosing a beautiful product. I want to understand how it is made, why it is made that way, and who stands behind it.

I came home from Germany even more excited to bring Ballerina Kitchens to our clients and the design community here in Boulder. #hausmesse2026 #germankitchendesign by @uvdesignco

I’m thrilled to be heading to NOLA tonight for the NKBA Women to Women Conference! I’m honored to have been selected as one of 100 women from across the kitchen and bath industry to take part in this special gathering focused on collaboration, leadership, and mentorship. Some of the most meaningful parts of this industry are the relationships we build along the way, and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, strengthening existing connections, and making new ones. New Orleans, here I come!

I’m honored to share that I was selected as a Gold Award winner in the Kitchen & Bath Design Awards for my Emerald Immersion Hallway Bath, and my work will be featured in the August issue of Kitchen & Bath Design News.

While this is a tremendous honor, what it really represents are the homeowners who trusted me with their homes, the contractors who brought each vision to life, and the collaborative process behind every project.

Thank you to every client who has invited me into your home and trusted me to guide the journey. Your trust is what makes work like this possible.

I am still taking it all in.

Every one of these projects began with an existing home and the opportunity to rethink how it could better support the families who live there. Through thoughtful planning, creative problem solving, and attention to every detail, each home was transformed into one that is beautiful, highly functional, and thoughtfully designed around their daily lives.

This year I was honored to receive:

✨ First Place for Hallway Bath, Emerald Immersion

✨ Third Place for Primary Bath, Steam and Stillness

✨ Third Place for Large Kitchen, Now the Kitchen is Opalite

✨ Colorado Homes and Lifestyle’s Most Dramatic Kitchen Makeover for Now the Kitchen is Opalite

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in these projects. Thank you to the @nkba.rkymtn, @coloradohomesmag and the judges for this wonderful recognition. It is an honor to be part of such a talented design community.

Thank you to my clients for trusting me with your homes, and to the contractors, trades, and industry partners whose craftsmanship and collaboration brought these designs to life. Remodeling is always a team effort, and I am grateful to everyone who made these projects possible.

I am just back from Milan and still taking it all in. The few days at @isaloniofficial were amazing and surrounded by really thoughtful design. It comes in many beautiful shapes, materials, and textures. Some are bold and some very quiet, but all intentional!

I am so grateful for the time with my designer friends and for the new connections I made along the way. That part is just as meaningful. I am feeling inspired and ready to bring it back into my projects.
