Nothing beats racing at Cadboro Bay! The Western Canada Cup Regatta brought incredible energy this past weekend.🔥

Shoutout to every team that showed up to race, as well to our own Race Team and Junior Varsity sailors. Big congratulations to UBC Thunderbirds 1 for taking home 1st place!

Tryouts are coming up and it’s your chance to show off your skills! Open to all UVIC students, meet us at the UVIC sailing compound at Cadboro bay on Saturday the 12th at 1pm. Not available? No worries, meet us on the 19th instead!

⛵️ UVIC SUMMER SAILING SHOUTOUT!! ☀️ Summer shoutout to team member Sacha Lyall for tackling the massive Pacific Northwest Offshore 2026 race. Sacha raced hard for 39 hours aboard Victoria boat Elbow’s Up, pushing through 193 nautical miles of sailing to lock in a fantastic 6th place division finish. Epic weekend on Saltspring Island!! Uvic Sailing had a great showing this year at the Round Saltspring Race. Current members and alumni raced with and against each other in numerous boats across all divisions.
