POSTS STORIES REELS

The Grossman School of Business ranks in the Top 2% nationwide for CPA Exam performance — #17 of 721 institutions in the new 2024 NASBA results — and #2 among nearly 300 medium‑sized programs.

We’re also the Top Flagship and Top Public University in both the Northeast and New England, plus the #4 state university in the U.S.

This continues more than a decade of excellence: Top 40 every year since 2011 and Top 10% performance in 12 of the last 13 years.

“Our students’ consistent success is not a coincidence. It reflects their dedication, the strength of UVM’s curriculum, and a community that lifts each other up,” says Dr. Suzanne Lowensohn, MAcc Program Director.

15 years. One remarkable tradition of excellence. 🎉

For the 15th consecutive year, the Grossman School of Business at UVM has ranked among the nation's Top 40 mid-sized accounting programs for CPA Exam performance.

🏆 #1 in New England
🏆 Top 3% nationally
🏆 #7 among mid-sized programs
🏆 #28 among 848 U.S. institutions

What makes these results possible?

A combination of rigorous academics, dedicated faculty mentors, hands-on learning, and a supportive community that prepares students for success long before they sit for the CPA Exam.

As MAcc alum Kyle Reynolds '15, MAcc '18 shared:

"Having a faculty member I could simply stop by and talk with is something I will value forever."

Congratulations to our students, alumni, faculty, and staff on another year of excellence.

📊🤝 Networking can open doors.

Meet Ted Wagner, this week's internship spotlight!

This summer, Ted interned with Johnson Lambert, where he gained hands-on experience in the audit process and worked on projects alongside the firm's associates.

One of his favorite parts of the internship was getting real-world exposure to audit engagements and applying what he's learned in the classroom to professional work.

How did he land the role? By reaching out directly to a partner at the firm, who connected him with the recruiting team.

💡 Ted's advice: Take advantage of networking opportunities. Reaching out to people in the industry can open doors.

👏 Congratulations, Ted!
