Charlie will share insights into working in the business side of professional sports, including finance, operations, and what it’s like being part of an NFL organization. Last week, UW Sports Management Club hosted Jen Mueller, sports broadcaster and sideline reporter for the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners, and founder of Talk Sporty to Me. 🎤 🏈⚾️

Jen shared insights into her journey in sports media, the importance of storytelling, and how communication skills can set you apart both on and off the field. Members also learned what it takes to succeed in live broadcasting and build meaningful relationships in the industry.

Mike shared insights into how teams attract, pitch, and manage corporate sponsors, and members participated in a mini case activity where they pitched sponsorship ideas and received professional feedback 👔.

Members gained insight into how to highlight relevant experience, showcase their academic background, and format their resumes to stand out when applying for internships and entry-level roles. ✅
