Last weekend, the brothers of ATO were accompanied by the people who made it all possible, our families. It was an incredible few days sharing our home, our traditions, and a whole lot of ATO spirit with the best. Grateful for a brotherhood that extends far beyond the active members. Huge shoutout to all the families who came out for ATO Parents Weekend—we couldn’t ask for a better crew to share the brotherhood with. L&R taken in University of West Florida by @uwfato

It’s okay to not be okay, as long as you don’t go through it alone💙💛

The Eta Psi chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity is proud to partner with Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) for our annual philanthropic fundraising campaign and Viking Week 2026.

Behind every laugh, every brotherhood, and every campus memory, there are stories we don’t always share out loud.

The Eta Psi chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at the University of West Florida is coming together for SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education). In this 15-minute feature, our active brothers and special guests sit down for an open, honest conversation about mental health, loss, hope, and what it truly means to show up for the people we care about.

Suicide prevention starts with breaking the silence. Thank you to everyone who opened up their hearts to make this project possible, and to our UWF community for standing alongside us in this mission.

161 years of Alpha Tau Omega.

On September 11, 1865, Alpha Tau Omega was founded on the principles of brotherhood, leadership, and reconciliation. More than a century later, on March 25, 1973, the Eta Psi Chapter was chartered at the University of West Florida and began writing our own chapter in ATO’s history.

For 53 years, generations of men have shaped what it means to be an Eta Psi ATO. Some led the chapter, some quietly supported the brothers around them, and others returned years later as alumni and volunteers to help ensure the chapter remained strong. Each generation inherited a culture from the one before it and, intentionally or not, left something behind for the next.

That is why Founders Day is more than simply celebrating our history.

Our culture is built every day through the standards we uphold, the way we treat one another, how we serve our community, how we respond when a brother needs us, and whether we live the values represented by the letters we wear. For our newest members especially, the example set by the men around them will help define what Alpha Tau Omega and Eta Psi mean for years to come.

Love and Respect 💛💙 by @uwfato
