Late to this but very excited to go see my work on the big screen for the first time! I did a small bit of foley sounds editing on Power Ballad, in cinemas now. First of many collaborations for myself and Nick 🫶💍This premiered at @dublinfilmfestival along with Gorky Resort/ Pojedynek where I got to do more foley editing along with sound effects assisting. Another great flick worth checking when it’s back out🍿🍿I am on the lookout for some (short) films to work on towards the later this year so send those projects my way 🤞 by @uwm______

had a great time playing my modular and live at sonic explorations @yamamoritengu opening for @dylanfogarty8 earlier this month!! expanding the set gradually to incorporate more live re sampling and drum beats into faster tempos, excited to do more. will be posting the full set soon👍 by @uwm______

@uwm______ mixes tracks, works in progress, field recordings and clips from Meitheal, a monthly skill share for FLINTA electronic music producers. @meithealmondays provides an open and inclusive space for sharing skills, experiences and workflows in a relaxed atmosphere @kirkos_ensemble Dublin, with sessions ranging from Ableton production, Logic mixing, modular synthesis, reggaeton loops and live jam sessions. This Queering the Airwaves show gives an insight into our groups’ solo creative outputs, and showcases what to expect next for any FLINTA producers that would like to join our summer sessions. by @uwm______

We are taking part in this year’s Queering the Airwaves broadcast week for Pride on @dublindigitalradio with a @meithealmondays show! If you have attended a Meitheal session and would like to be featured, please send on a track, work in progress, clip or field recording via the form in our bio.

The only criteria for submitting is that you have attended at least one meitheal session, identify as being under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, and that you produced any music that you are submitting. Please reach out here or on instagram if you have any questions, or need advice on exporting works in progress from Ableton. Introducing artists from our upcoming daytime party lineup:

UWM. is an artist, producer and sound designer based in Dublin, Ireland. In recorded projects, collaborations and live sets, she continues to blend the industrial with the human, combining modular movement and serrated drum beats with field recordings and cassette re-sampling into an ever-evolving hypnotic soundscape.

Oscillating between the expansive and the minimal in liminal spaces, her live improvisation of sound synthesis draws from her studio residency at Kirkos Dublin, her work as a foley editor and sound assistant in the world of TV and film, and as a prolific collaborator across multiple genres in the Irish scene, most recently as half of electronic soul duo, Marguise. Live sets at Yamamori Tengu, Dublin Modular, Unit 44 Kirkos, Bloop Group and Workman’s, along with workshop facilitation and community engagement continue to inform and influence her production and performance.

The next SIGNS party is a daytime event on Saturday July 11th, running from 2—10pm at The Sugar Club. Amsterdam's Mendel will DJ out in the open air, and UWM, Crispy Jason & Emblems of Belief will perform live electronic music inside on the main stage. Food will be served up by Hawker (aka Hang Dai).
