Just another day at the college's Structures Lab, where research manager Hua Liu is conducting tests for an international company. He is measuring the strength of scaffolding holding bins of water. So far, he and Professor emerit Al Ghorbanpour have proven the scaffolding can bear nearly 25,000 pounds, with bins arranged on seven levels, without structural damage. #mkeengineer #uwmresearch by @uwmceas

Yin Wang, associate professor, left, has obtained funding from Wisconsin Sea Grant to study whether PFAS attach to tiny organic particles that float in the lake. Nearly 300 new engineers and computer scientists are ready to make their mark! 🎓⚙️💻

Last Saturday, many of our graduates took part in the Order of the Engineer ceremony — a powerful tradition recognizing their commitment to professionalism, ethics and the responsibility that comes with shaping the future through engineering and technology.

We couldn’t be more Milwaukee Engineer Proud of the Class of 2026 and all they’ve accomplished. The future is in good hands. 💛🖤
