Some of the best moments weren’t on the itinerary.

And as someone who genuinely loves planning travel, I say that with full confidence.

I love the logistics. Finding the right hotel. Mapping out the day. Figuring out how to make the most of your time. Knowing where you’re going and how you’re getting there.

But I don’t believe every minute of a trip needs to be planned.

In fact, I don’t recommend it.

Leave room to roam.

Leave room to sleep in. To wander down a street because something caught your eye. To grab coffee and stay a little longer. To ask a local where they would eat—not where the internet says you should.

Leave room for the hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The unexpected conversation. The spontaneous detour. The moment you realize you’re experiencing a place instead of simply checking it off your itinerary.

Because travel isn’t just about seeing a destination.

It’s about experiencing it.

And sometimes the moments that connect us most deeply to a place—and to the people in it—are the ones we never could have planned.

That’s how I like to travel.

Thoughtfully planned, but never so tightly scheduled that there’s no room to actually be there.

My Stay in Negril, Jamaica 🇯🇲

A few highlights from my recent stay at Azul Beach Resort Negril—beautiful beaches, unforgettable sunsets, incredible food, and finally getting to experience a swim-up room for the first time. Safe to say I understand the hype now.

One thing that stood out was the hospitality. From welcome drinks upon arrival to assistance getting settled into our room, the experience felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

Travel has a way of reminding us how much there is to see beyond our daily routines. For me, it’s also a reminder to experience more of what God created beyond our own backyard.

I used to think hotels like Fontainebleau Las Vegas were for people in a completely different tax bracket than me.

Not necessarily because I wanted “luxury” for the sake of it — but because I assumed experiences like this automatically came with unrealistic price tags attached to them.

A little fun fact about me: I’m also part of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community. I originally started researching Las Vegas hotel options because someone I know is competing at IBJJF World Master this September, and I wanted to help compare hotel rates for the trip.

While searching, I came across Fontainebleau Las Vegas — a Michelin Key award hotel on the Strip — and honestly, I was surprised to even SEE a property like that available through the travel programs and rates I have access to as a travel advisor.

That’s the part I think people misunderstand about travel advisors sometimes.

It’s not always about finding some unbelievable discount. Not every hotel is going to be dramatically cheaper. Sometimes the value is simply knowing there are better hotel options, added perks, or rates you may not have thought to check otherwise.

Same hotel. Same room. Same experience.

But occasionally, a very different outcome than what major booking sites are showing.

And that’s really the heart behind what I want this business to be.

Not “cheap travel.”
Not convincing people to overspend.
Not selling unrealistic luxury.

Just helping people realize there may be more possibilities out there than they thought.

Because sometimes luxury travel feels out of reach… until someone actually helps you look.

I’m genuinely so excited for this Jamaica trip 🥹🌴

All-inclusives have always had a special place in my heart, and this will actually be my FIRST time staying in a premium swim up room 👀✨

Before booking, I decided to compare pricing just to see if I was actually getting a good deal… and the difference honestly shocked me.

Same resort. Same dates. Same room category.
Saved over $600 on the exact same stay.

Most people don’t realize how much pricing can vary depending on where and how you book — and this is exactly why I love doing what I do. I genuinely enjoy searching, comparing, and finding better options so travel feels exciting instead of overwhelming.

Now I’m counting down the days until June ☀️

Of course, not every trip comes with huge savings like this — pricing constantly changes based on destination, season, availability, room category, and timing. But this is exactly why I love comparing options and taking the time to search intentionally.

Sometimes the value is savings. Sometimes it’s a better experience, better flights, less stress, or simply having someone handle the planning for you so you don’t have to spend hours doing it yourself ✨
